A day break

As I came along

In the midst of cloudy day

The green trees around

Blown by its wind

The soft touch of breeze

Gently embraced me

And the little thoughts of you

Keeps me going on

Time is passing by

I hear my clock ticking

Something reminds me to

Moves fast on my own,

Those humming birds

Flocked in the middle of the shower rains

I tried to look back

Where I’ve been

But the search continually

Rush me there

Along the pathway of learning

A quest for intellectual freedom

But then, the loving arms of my parents,

Their care and support

What an inspiration they brought

To wear the clothes of humility

And be the best I can
